Design Concept
The reason why I use triangles in my design is that the shape expresses direction and movement. It is the representation of strength and balance. A strong and well-balanced community to create a community playground named Leisure District:
“Leisure” = “Recreational” and “District” = “Community”.
Ideation of Project
I want to create a vibrant space where people from all walks of life to physically and mentally use this area. Meaning how they move, what they do, having peace of mind and how they connect to the place. Showing unity within diversity. I want to show how the community makes the space by using their movement (the density where people hang out), where they come from, their proportion, their feelings and interests as research material to make my façade.
Also, I want them to enjoy their activities while being surrounded by nature. As being in nature, or even looking at nature's scenes, decreases frustration, anxiety, and tension and increases good feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally but also contributes to your physical well-being and reduces blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension and stress hormone output. Thus, improves and connects the circle both physically and mentally. Colours also help in a similar way, it makes people feel emotions and the ambience of the place.
