Gardenopolis
History of Tempelhof Feld, Berlin, Germany
Tempelhofer Feld (386 ha), located in Berlin, Germany, is rich in history and social significance and has been protected by the Law for the Preservation of Tempelhofer Feld since 2014. Once known as an airport with its aviation progressions, it is now an ample open space for recreation, sports, and culture.

The Design
Design for the residents of Schillerkiez and future dwellers of new housing developments, Gardenopolis enhances food resilience while strengthening social ties. The design integrates residential areas, food & beverage hubs, and productive greenhouses, all interconnected by a ramped path stretching across a constructed topography.

Topography
This topographic circulation offers a continuous spatial experience while maximizing access to native edible landscapes. My project invites you on this journey to reimagine a self-sufficient, cooperative food system rooted in place, laying the groundwork for food autonomy and social cohesion amid growing instability.

Night Lighting & Drainage
